Comprehensive Examination for Doctoral Student in Physics — September 25, 2025
On Thursday, September 25, 2025, the Comprehensive Examination was conducted for Brainy Happy Tasiman, a doctoral student of the 2024 Odd Semester Cohort from the Doctoral Program in Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada.
This examination represents one of the key academic milestones intended to assess the student’s mastery of concepts, theories, and research methodologies in the field of physics, as part of the requirements for advancing to the dissertation stage.
The examination was held onsite at the Physics Department Meeting Room II, FMIPA UGM, and was attended by:

The session commenced at 13:15 WIB and concluded at 15:45 WIB, taking place in a conducive academic atmosphere filled with active and enthusiastic scientific discussions.
Based on the evaluation and deliberation of the examination committee, Brainy Happy Tasiman was declared “Pass”, thereby eligible to proceed to the dissertation research stage. This result reflects a strong understanding of the field of physics, as well as solid analytical and scientific reasoning skills.
In conclusion, the Comprehensive Examination for the Doctoral Program in Physics was conducted successfully and smoothly.
