The 10th Asian Physics Symposium (APS) 2023

The Asian Physics Symposium (APS) is an international symposium that brings together researchers from around the world to exchange ideas and research findings in various fields of physics and its applications. This event is regularly organized by the Bachelor’s and Master’s Programs in Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia, with the support of the Physical Society of Indonesia (PSI). The 10th APS was held in a hybrid format (both offline and online) at the Ganesha Campus, Bandung Institute of Technology, on October 3-4, 2023, with the theme “The Role of Physics in Supporting Sustainable Development Goals.” The objectives of this symposium include:

  1. Facilitating international scientific communication among Indonesian researchers and researchers from other countries.
  2. Building and strengthening collaboration networks among researchers, both domestically and with potential collaborators from abroad.
  3. Creating a conducive research atmosphere through the organization of internationally recognized scientific meetings.

Wiwien Andriyanti, one of the doctoral students in the Physics Program at UGM, participated in this symposium. Wiwien Andriyanti presented research titled “Microstructure, Magnetic, and Microwave Absorbing Properties of Bismuth Ferrite Thin Films on Kapton Sheet”.
