The vision of the Doctoral Program in Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada, is to become a world-class Doctoral Program in Physics by 2037, excelling and innovating in all aspects of academic activities, and producing competent, high-quality Physics doctoral graduates who are respected and internationally recognized.

The missions of the Doctoral Program in Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada, are to:
Provide high-quality doctoral education that produces graduates with strong capabilities in organizing education and conducting research.
Implement effective supervision and mentoring processes that support students in carrying out high-quality physics research and academic activities.
